      Kids

For children ages 4 to 10, the playground areas are a great place to explore and have fun. At the Playground and Slides Playground, kids will find sandboxes, slides, monkey bars, swings, and more. Bring along skates, skateboards, or bikes and enjoy exploring the park together. While the little ones play, you can enjoy the green surroundings and fresh air. And when it’s time for a treat, the Gourmet Terrace offers ice cream, snacks, and healthier food options too.

      RECOMMENDATIONS

      • La Mexicana is pet-friendly, so you’ll see plenty of dogs around the park. To help avoid accidents, always ask the owner before children approach or pet them
      • La Mexicana is a large park, so keep an eye on children at all times
      • Bring water, a hat, and sunscreen. The sun can be strong, so staying hydrated and protected from prolonged exposure is important.

      Dogs

La Mexicana is a dog-friendly park, and we want to keep it that way. To help make that possible, all dog owners must follow the park rules.

      • Only dogs are allowed as pets.
      • Dogs must remain on a leash at all times, except inside the Dog Park. This helps keep everyone safe and prevents incidents involving visitors as well as damage to the park’s landscaping.
      • Retractable leashes are not allowed.
      • Dogs may not be tied to railings, trees, or any other park structures.

      Restricted Areas
Dogs are not allowed in the Playground, Slides Playground, Skatepark, sports courts, or fountains. Following this rule helps keep other visitors safe, especially children.

      Pet Waste
Owners must pick up after their dogs and dispose of waste only in the designated bins.

      Aggressive Dogs
Dogs with a history of aggressive behavior must wear a muzzle and remain on a leash at all times, including inside the Dog Park. Dogs with behavioral or socialization issues should be trained in appropriate specialized settings. Please bring your dog to the park only when it is ready to interact safely with others.

      Owner Responsibility
Owners are responsible for their dogs’ behavior at all times. Any injury to another person or damage to park property caused by a dog is the responsibility of its owner, who will be required to cover any resulting costs. Attacks or other serious incidents may result in the dog being restricted from entering the park.
